ANDREW
MATTHIAS
FRANTZ
Dance is not solely movement. It is an experience for both the audience and the performer. In order for the experience to be genuine, the movement must have purpose and meaning. This is the theory that Andrew implements in all of his work. Each piece of choreography he sets has a clear, carefully crafted intention. He accomplishes this through the development of concepts and stories.
These concepts drive the process and dictate the type of movement and movement quality that he applies to the choreography. The end product is a captivating piece of choreography that artfully tells a story and keeps the audience actively engaged.
